Borage Seed Oil, also known as Starflower Oil, is an emollient and skin conditioner which is well known for being one of the richest sources of Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA), which is a powerful fatty acid that helps maintain healthy skin. It contains 19% GLA, making it a must-have oil to add to your facial treatment products.

Native to the UK and a widely grown crop in the last 20 years, this native weed is also known as Starflower Oil due to the plant producing beautiful, star-shaped purple flowers. Often sourced from China too, Borage Oil is extremely high in essential fatty acids and has become a staple of the cosmetic world due it being the richest commercial plant source of GLA.
